Loud but ladylike while laughing

I am married to my best friend and we share life with our pets, Loki and Luna.

I believe in serving others by building community and sharing my gifts. I currently work for the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association. I love making a difference with small business owners and the town I call home through design.

We also throw the best events! Recently we held a Thank You event for our sponsors and business friends with a 20’s theme.

I volunteer my time as the Graphic Design Leader with Clubs in the City, an organization in Raleigh, North Carolina. They provide a safe place for at risk kids to grow and thrive. We meet once a week and complete a mini lesson that gets the kids excited about graphic design and their future. We also discuss tough topics, hurdles they face at home and school.

I serve as President of the Graphic Design Association at Wake Tech Community College. I organize and manage our biweekly meetings with my partner in design crime, Jena. We make a great team. Our meetings are workshops or coffee and critiquing. Our gatherings are focused around sharing information and providing an opportunity for students to make connections with the professional world of Advertising and Graphic Design.

I am a member of AIGA Raleigh and look forward to contributing and collaborating more after graduation. I love their events and was so excited to attend their one day creative conference, Thrive! I believe in their mission and try to incorporate design empowerment, design impact, and uniting people in my professional and personal life.
